New Senior Appointment as Fairgrove Partners Goes From Strength to Strength

Fairgrove Partners is delighted to announce that Allan Gasson has joined the team as a Senior Advisor, taking over from Miles Templeman, who leaves his post as Chairman after overseeing Fairgrove through its first four years.

Allan is a highly respected strategy and commercial due diligence consultant, who began his career at Bain & Co in 1986. After 4 years, he left to become Business Development Director for Beverages at Dole Foods Europe, where he was responsible for growing the group through acquisitions. In 1993, he founded Burlington Consultants, which grew rapidly to become a leading player in the UK commercial due diligence market, as well as a key strategic advisor to Microsoft’s European and global operations centres. As Senior Partner, Allan grew the firm to a team of 50+ consultants, before it was acquired by Deloitte in 2005 to form the core of its commercial transaction services team. He subsequently spent 11 years as a Strategy and Operations Partner at Deloitte, where he was also Lead Corporate Development Partner, responsible for identifying and executing complementary acquisitions for the firm. Allan will advise Fairgrove on matters relating to strategy, business development and operations, and adds deep sector expertise to the firm’s consumer and industrials practices.

Commenting on his appointment, Patrick Woodrow, Partner at Fairgrove said: “We are thrilled and honoured that someone of Allan’s calibre and experience has agreed to join our team at such an exciting time in Fairgrove’s development. We would also like to thank Miles Templeman for his outstanding advice and support as Fairgrove evolved from a start-up to an established and trusted advisory brand, with a significant share of its addressable market.”
